Deirdre has a Professional Certificate in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and is also a Nutritional Therapist, She has trained with the National Centre for Eating Disorders in the UK.

Nutritional Therapy is a science based complementary therapy and the focus is on the complete person, not the symptom or disease. All aspects of your health are taken into account including previous medical history and lifestyle as well as genetic and environmental influences. A dietary analysis and lifestyle assessment is included in the consultation.

I work alongside your medical practitioner and refer you to them if I feel it is necessary or if your symptoms require medical investigation and treatment.

I can work with you to address the anxiety, unhelpful eating patterns and negative thinking about food and body image.
